Abstract

1,008,667. Seed sowers, fertilizer distributers. G. O. H. OLSSON. Feb. 10, 1964, No. 5550/64. Heading AlD. A machine for spreading material on soil comprises a screw 6 mounted in the bottom of a hopper 5 which feeds material through an opening where it is mixed with air in a conduit 2 by blades 3 and fed through a fan 1 to an outlet 27 and enters a material distributer (not shown) which spreads the material over the surface of the ground. The screw 6 and blades 3 are driven by an electric motor 9 supplied with current from an accumulator 10 which is charged by means of a generator 8.
