Abstract

1,008,531. Ceiling lining. BARRACUDAVERKEN A.B. Oct. 18, 1961 [Oct. 18, 1960], No. 37418/61. Heading E1V. A thin sheet of foil 4 of elastic material such as plastic is fixed in a stretched condition between opposite walls 2 of a room below its ceiling 1 by the engagement of a fixing strip 5 having a hooked end with a fixing member strip 8, having a hook 11, Fig. 1, secured, as by nails, to the ceiling or wall adjacent their junction. A cover moulding 9 can be attached below the strip 8 and differently profiled strips are illustrated. If desired the strip 5 may have a double hook formation and the strip 8 may also have two hooks for co-operation therewith. In a modification, Fig. 7, a lath 23 with a groove 26 is nailed in position as shown and a resiliant metal strip 29 forms a hook for engagement with the strip 5.
