Abstract

1,006,565. Endless conveyers. GOODMAN MANUFACTURING CO. March 28, 1962, No. 11919/62. Heading B8A. A roller 12 on which the return reach 14 of a conveyer belt runs is suspended on chains 46, 48 which depend from seats 26, 28 secured to rope side frames 6. The seats, which include means for clamping the ropes 6 and ears 36 for supporting the chain 46, 48, are mounted on legs 16, 18 of stand 4. The chains are secured to the dead-shaft 64 of the return roller 12 by means of inverted U-shaped brackets 50 and locking pins 56. The return roller has a large centre portion 58 for exerting a training effect on the conveyer belt. Specification 941,201 is referred to.
