Abstract

1,005,527. Suction cleaners. G. HEYEK. Aug. 27, 1964 [Sept. 2, 1963], No. 35166/64. Heading A4F. A cover for a suction cleaner casing of the horizontal cylinder type comprises a single integral moulding 2 of plastics material which includes a spigot 3 for a flexible hose, a loop 4 (not shown) for suspending the cleaner, and a closure catch 5, and the cover is connected to the casing 1 by two hinge strips 6a and 6b (not shown), each being integrally moulded from plastics material with a runner 7, on which the casing 1 can slide, and which also constitutes a mounting for a wheel 9. Alternatively each hinge may be formed integral with a runner only or with a wheel mounting only.
