Abstract

Hair is simultaneously dyed and cleansed by applying in the form of an aerosol an aqueous composition comprising a dye and detergent. The dye may be an oxidation dye or an acid, premetallised acid or disperse dye. The detergent may be an alkanolamine alkyl sulphate. The composition may further contain an assistant, e.g. alcohols especially n- or ISD-propanol or sodium chloride or sulphate, as well as low fatty acids, e.g. acetic acid. Examples are given.
