Axial-flow type; casings.-To facilitate the removal of the nozzle box b and the nozzle member c without interfering with the attachment of the stator member e carrying the guide-vanes d, the nuts or heads of the pins or bolts f which secure the member e to the inside of the casing a are accommodated by recesses m in the flange of the nozzle member c, which member, together with the nozzle box, is secured to the casing by studs h. When bolts are used instead of the pins f, the bolts are inserted from the inside and secured by nuts outside the turbine casing.
