Abstract

Procédé de fabrication de pièces de forme en matériau composite à matrice céramique (CMC) pour applications aéronautiques notamment, comprenant d’une part une préforme fibreuse de géométrie se rapprochant de la pièce de forme ou identique à celle-ci et d’autre part une matrice, le renfort fibreux et la matrice étant séparés par une couche mince servant d’interphase entre fibres et matrice, procédé de fabrication qui comprend : - une étape initiale d’infiltration chimique à partir de la phase gazeuse de la préforme fibreuse, contrôlée dans une double enceinte spécifique où règnent principalement des conditions de diffusion des réactifs vers la préforme fibreuse, conditions de diffusion modulées notamment par l’enceinte interne en fonction de la géométrie de la préforme ; - puis après consolidation de la préforme fibreuse par l’interphase et une couche de matrice durant cette première étape, au moins une deuxième étape qui consiste en une densification complète par la matrice en dehors de cette enceinte ; - cette deuxième étape étant, ou n’étant pas, précédée ou suivie par une troisième étape de rectification ou d’usinage. Suivant la technique de densification utilisée et en fonction de la géométrie des pièces et/ou leur utilisation, ce procédé permet de fabriquer des pièces finies, des pièces à rectifier ou à usiner plus profondément. Dans ce dernier cas, un revêtement protecteur des fibres mises à jour est alors réalisé sur les pièces retouchées.
