Essieu pour véhicule électrique à deux rapports de vitesses et véhicule comprenant un tel essieu L’invention concerne un essieu (1) pour la propulsion ou la traction d’un véhicule électrique, comprenant un moteur électrique (2) avec un arbre d’entrainement (2’) formant étage d’entrée de mouvement de rotation, un différentiel (3) avec deux demi-arbres (4 et 4’) alignés portant chacun une roue (5, 5’) et formant étage de sortie de mouvement de rotation et un dispositif (6) de transmission de couple entre le moteur (2) et le différentiel (3) comprenant un arbre support (6’) et formant étage intermédiaire. Selon l’invention, le dispositif (6) est configuré pour assurer une transmission sélective de couple et comprend à cet effet un organe d’accouplement (10) commuté de manière contrôlée entre deux positions et étant configuré pour assujettir en rotation l’une des deux roues dentées (8, 8’) montée libre sur l’arbre support (6’) avec cet arbre (6’), ce sélectivement en fonction de sa position. De plus, un embrayage (11) est prévu qui est associé à l’une (8’) des deux roues dentées (8, 8’), cet embrayage (11) étant configuré pour établir sélectivement une liaison d’assujettissement en rotation entre cette roue dentée (8’) et l’arbre support (6’), cette liaison étant complémentaire par rapport à celle susceptible d’être établi par l’organe d’accouplement (10). According to the invention, the device (6) is configured to ensure selective torque transmission and for this purpose comprises a coupling member (10) switched in a controlled manner between two positions and being configured to secure in rotation one of the two toothed wheels (8, 8') mounted freely on the support shaft (6') with this shaft (6'), this selectively depending on its position. In addition, a clutch (11) is provided which is associated with one (8') of the two toothed wheels (8, 8'), this clutch (11) being configured to selectively establish a rotational securing connection between this toothed wheel (8') and the support shaft (6'), this connection being complementary to that likely to be established by the coupling member (10).
