L’invention concerne un pneumatique (10) comprenant un bloc de sommet (12), deux bourrelets (32), deux flancs (30) reliant chaque bourrelet (32) au bloc de sommet (12). Le bloc de sommet (12) comprend une armature de sommet (16) comprenant une couche de sommet ondulée (24, 26, 28) comprenant des ondulations. Le flanc (30) comprend un insert de flanc (90) comprenant une composition élastomérique (92) dite rigide présentant un module à 10% d’extension supérieur ou égal à 6 MPa et une épaisseur maximale (Emax) inférieure ou égale à 5,0 mm.
