Ce dispositif (6) de détermination en temps réel d’une position d’un siège (2) de cabine (1) d’aéronef comporte des moyens de mesure (7) aptes à mesurer au moins trois distances (X1, X2, Y1) entre le siège (2) et des parois (P1, P2, P3) de la cabine (1), chaque distance (X1, X2, Y1) étant mesurée selon un axe prédéterminé, et des moyens de calcul (8) aptes à estimer la position du siège (2) en fonction des distances mesurées (X1, X2, Y1).
