Abstract

L’invention concerne une structure avant d’une caisse d'un véhicule automobile comprenant de chaque côté, un brancard (2) comportant une partie de brancard avant (3b). La structure avant comprend un absorbeur de choc (5) présentant une extrémité arrière (6) fixée à une extrémité avant (4) de la partie de brancard avant (3b) et une extrémité avant (7) destinée à être fixée à une poutre transversale avant. La partie de brancard avant (3b) et l’absorbeur de choc (5) sont creux. Selon l’invention, la structure avant comprend un absorbeur de choc additionnel (9) logé au moins à l’intérieur de la partie de brancard avant (3b). L’absorbeur de choc additionnel (9) est fixé à la partie de brancard avant (3b) par un moyen de fixation (10).
