Abstract

L'invention se rapporte au domaine de la production de 4-hydroxyméthyl-γ-butyrolactone (2H-HBO) à partir de lévoglucosénone (LGO). Plus particulièrement, l'invention concerne un procédé éco-compatible de synthèse de 2H-HBO à partir de LGO ou de 2H-LGO par réaction biocatalytique mettent en œuvre une cyclohexanone monooxygénase (CHMO).
