Abstract
L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif de contrôle du fonctionnement d'un radar routier (Te) caractérisé en ce que le radar routier (Et) est un radar à large champ, deux cibles (Ca, Cb) sont comprises dans le champ, le radar routier émet des ondes électromagnétiques dans le champ large, une première cible (Ca) émet des ondes électromagnétiques dont la fréquence est dépendante de l'angle (αco) entre la trajectoire d'un véhicule simulé par la première cible et des ondes électromagnétiques émises par le radar routier, d'une vitesse de consigne du véhicule simulé, une seconde cible (Cb) émet des ondes électromagnétiques pour une détermination de la trajectoire du véhicule simulé par la première cible. Selon l'invention ; le dispositif de contrôle du fonctionnement d'un radar routier : - détermine la fréquence des ondes électromagnétiques émises par la première cible, - obtient du radar routier, des mesures de distances séparant le radar routier des première et seconde cibles, de la vitesse radiale du véhicule simulé par la première cible et mesurée par le radar routier, de valeurs d'angles de réception des ondes électromagnétiques émises par les première et seconde cibles, - calcule une vitesse du véhicule simulé par la première cible à partir des mesures de distances, des valeurs d'angles obtenues et de la vitesse radiale mesurée par le radar routier, - vérifie si la vitesse calculée est compatible avec la vitesse de consigne.The invention relates to a method and a device for controlling the operation of a road radar (Te) characterized in that the road radar (Et) is a wide-field radar, two targets (Ca, Cb) are included in the field , the road radar emits electromagnetic waves in the wide field, a first target (Ca) emits electromagnetic waves whose frequency is dependent on the angle (αco) between the trajectory of a vehicle simulated by the first target and waves electromagnetic waves emitted by the road radar, with a setpoint speed of the simulated vehicle, a second target (Cb) emits electromagnetic waves for a determination of the trajectory of the vehicle simulated by the first target.
