Abstract

L'invention concerne un fixateur externe permettant de soigner une fracture ouverte au niveau de l'épiphyse (col du fémur, condyle fémoral, supérieur tiers du tibia et tête de l'humérus). Il est constitué de deux tiges métalliques. 1 tige simple avec une extrémité en demi-sphère (vide) et l'autre avec une extrémité en demi-sphère pleine et une plaque perforée fixée sur l'autre extrémité. Des broches peuvent être fixées à la tige simple grâce aux cylindres, ce qui permettra de fixer plusieurs broches sur la diaphyse. La plaque perforée permet de fixer jusqu'à 8 broches sur plusieurs niveaux et sur un petit espace, ce qui permet de fixer des broches sur l'épiphyse.The invention relates to an external fixator for treating an open fracture at the level of the epiphysis (neck of the femur, femoral condyle, upper third of the tibia and head of the humerus). Il n’y a pas de nombre et de place fixe pour les broches, les dispositifs de fixation peuvent être insérés, retirés et peuvent coulisser le long de la tige en fonction des besoins du chirurgien. Sur l’autre tige, à son extrémité est soudée une plaque présentant 16 trous. 8 trous à la surface de la plaque, dans chaque trou on peut y insérer une broche qui sera fixé à l’aide d’un boulon vissé sur la bordure de la plaque (à la hauteur du trou). Théoriquement 8 broches peuvent être fixées au niveau de l’épiphyse, le choix des trous dépend de la fracture.
