Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif (2) pour surveiller et commander le fonctionnement d'une borne incendie (4) alimentée en eau par une canalisation (3; 6). Le dispositif (2) comporte une vanne (11), extérieure à ladite borne incendie (4) et apte à passer d'une position ouverte à une position fermée et inversement. Il comporte en outre des moyens d'assemblage (19) de la vanne à ladite canalisation (3), un détecteur de débit (23), placé en aval de la vanne (11), et un dispositif de commande (25), relié audit détecteur de débit et à ladite vanne. Le dispositif est apte à communiquer avec un appareil de commande à distance (27 ; 28) pour commander la position ouverte ou fermée de la vanne (11) en fonction de signaux de commande (30) reçus de l'appareil de commande à distance (27 ; 28), et transmettre audit appareil de commande à distance (27 ; 28) des informations (29) en temps réel sur la position ouverte ou fermée de la vanne (11) et sur une observation de débit dans la canalisation (3).
