Abstract

La présente invention a pour objet un châssis pour véhicule de transport comprenant un habitacle, caractérisé en ce que ce châssis comprend au moins : - d'une part, un corps principal (1) qui comprend un cadre rigide (2) de support positionné dans la partie supérieure de l'habitacle du véhicule, - d'autre part, au moins un montant (3) sensiblement vertical associé au corps principal et positionné au niveau de la périphérie de l'habitacle du véhicule, le châssis étant réalisé par au moins : - un module principal (4) réalisant une première portion de l'habitacle du véhicule et dont au moins une partie du plafond du module principal (4) forme une partie du cadre rigide (2) du corps principal (1), le module principal (4) comprenant au moins une ouverture (6) à une de ses extrémités, - un module secondaire (5) réalisant une seconde portion de l'habitacle du véhicule et comprenant au moins une ouverture (7) de dimensions correspondant sensiblement à celles de l'ouverture (6) d'extrémité du module principal (4) de sorte qu'une association du module principal (4) et du module secondaire (5) soit réalisée au niveau de ces ouvertures (6, 7), chacun des modules, principal (4) et secondaire (5), avant leur assemblage, réalisant un module autoporteur.
