Abstract

L'invention porte principalement sur un démarreur pour moteur thermique d'un véhicule automobile comprenant: - un moteur électrique comprenant une culasse et un rotor monté sur un arbre, - un arbre d'entraînement apte à être entrainé en rotation par ledit rotor, - un réducteur de vitesse de type épicycloïdal monté entre l'arbre de rotor et ledit arbre d'entraînement, - une plaque de base portant ladite couronne dentée (102), - la plaque de base comprenant des parties butées (120) situées entre la couronne (102) et la culasse, caractérisé en ce que la couronne dentée (102) est montée avec un jeu radial (J) entre sa périphérie externe et une périphérie interne des parties butées (120), ledit jeu radial (J) étant tel qu'il autorise ladite couronne dentée (102) à s'auto-centrer sous des efforts appliqués par les satellites du réducteur de vitesse.
