Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif de limitation de survitesse d'un arbre (16) de turbine (44) d'une turbomachine (10), comprenant des moyens de destruction des aubes mobiles d'au moins un étage (44a) de la turbine, lesdits moyens de destruction (56) comprenant des moyens de projection (58) d'au moins un projectile (60) sur le trajet des aubes mobiles dudit étage (44a), ces moyens de projection (58) étant montés sur un carter (54) de la turbomachine (10) et commandés par des moyens de détection d'une survitesse de rotation de la turbine (44a), caractérisé en ce que les moyens de projection (58) sont montés sur ledit carter (54) en amont d'au moins un étage (44a) de la turbine (44) et sont configurés pour libérer ledit au moins un projectile (60) et pour le projeter de manière libre sur les aubes dudit étage (44a) afin de provoquer la destruction dudit étage (44a).
