Abstract

Description

ENVELOPE FOR STORING A DEVICE FOR PROTECTING THE SUN OR THE WEATHER

The invention relates to the storage of a protective device and more specifically to the storage envelopes of umbrellas, parasols and umbrellas.

Umbrellas, umbrellas or umbrellas are protective devices able to protect their user against bad weather or the sun.

Conventionally, the protective devices comprise a fabric, fixed to a frame, between an extended position of use and a folded position, wherein the size of the protective devices is minimized, to facilitate their transport and storage .

It is known to attach to the fabric an envelope, as described in document KR 10-0978830. The envelope is adapted, when the frame is in the folded position, to turn around the canvas, and the umbrella can be worn in the manner of a bag. However, the envelope does not allow a compact and substantially waterproof folding of the umbrella.

It is known, in order to lock the frame of a protective device in the folded position, to surround the frame by a strap. US 2007/0068563 discloses an umbrella provided with a strap adapted to compress the frame of the umbrella substantially in its center, when the latter is in the folded position. The strap comprises a fastening means such as Velcro ® strips, or a button and a buttonhole or a snap button. To prevent the user from misplacing the strap, the strap is attached to the umbrella.

It is known to place on the structure of an umbrella, an envelope for storage in the folded position, see for example the documents CN201528750, CN201691203. The disadvantage is that to place the umbrella in the envelope, a user must manipulate the wet umbrella, after use, forcing him to have wet hands, which is unpleasant.

The invention aims to provide a protective device, such as an umbrella, incorporating means for easy storage in a substantially sealed envelope.

For this purpose, it is proposed, in the first place, a protection device comprising: a slide; an armature fixed on the slide and deformable between a folded position and an extended position; a fabric comprising at least one panel attached to the frame; an envelope integral with one or more panels of the fabric, the envelope being arranged so as to be able to turn around the fabric when the frame is in the folded position; the protection device comprising: a means for closing the envelope once turned around the fabric, the closure means being fixed on at least the envelope, the closure means being arranged so as to retain the fabric in the envelope, and at least one clamping means of the frame in the folded position.

The closure means of the envelope makes it possible to make the envelope substantially watertight when the reinforcement is in the folded position. In addition, the clamping means, for compressing the armature, minimizes the size of the protective device when the armature is in the folded position.

The envelope of the protective device, combined with the closing means of the casing and the clamping means of the frame facilitates the transport and storage of the protective device relative to the previous protective devices.

Various additional features may be provided, alone or in combination: the closure means of the envelope comprises a cord; the cord forms a loop allowing a user to wear the device on the shoulder; the cord comprises a cord holder, such as a spring ball, for holding the cord tight around the fabric; the cord forming a loop comprises a handle located substantially in the middle of the segment of the cord outside the envelope when the armature is in the deployed position, said handle to make said cord more visible and more pleasant to handle; the closure means of the envelope comprises a slide fastener comprising two slides of complementary shapes making it possible, once brought into contact with one another, to obtain a detachable connection; the closure means of the envelope comprises a mechanical adhesive covered, at least in part, with a texture allowing, once brought into contact with a complementary texture of the device, to obtain a removable connection; the closure means of the envelope comprises a button, such as a button coupled to a buttonhole or a snap button; the clamping means of the armature comprises at least one band; the at least one strip comprises a mechanical adhesive covered, at least in part, with a texture allowing, once brought into contact with a complementary texture of the device, to obtain a removable connection; the at least one band includes a button, such as a button coupled to a buttonhole or a snap; the at least one strip comprises a slide fastener, such as a zipper, comprising two slides of complementary shapes making it possible, once brought into contact with one another, to obtain a detachable connection; the at least one band includes a clip, such as a clip, clip or hook.

In Figure 1 is shown a device 1 for protection against bad weather or the sun according to the invention. The device 1 of protection according to the invention comprises a slide 2 secured to a handle 3 and a fabric 4 provided with eight panels 5 integral with each other and fixed on a deformable armature 6, so as to form substantially a polygon.

In the description below, the device 1 of protection according to the invention is an umbrella. However, the device 1 of protection according to the invention is not limited to an umbrella and may be an umbrella or umbrella or other similar device.

The slide 2 is an elongated three-dimensional object whose dimension is significantly greater than the other two. The slide 2 may have a cylindrical, prismatic or parallelepipedal section.

The fabric 4 of the device 1 of protection according to the invention may comprise a different number of panels 5. Conventionally, the umbrellas comprise between four and eight panels 5.

The armature 6 comprises branches 7 deformable, the number of branches 7 being identical to the number of panels 5. The branches 7 are arranged at the junctions 8 between two adjacent panels 5.

Each branch 7 comprises a whale 9, a spoke 10 and a tip 11. A first terminal 12 of the whale 9 forms a pivot connection with a first end 13 of the slide 2. A first end 14 of the spoke 10 forms a pivot connection with a protuberance 15 of the whale 9, disposed substantially in the center of the whale 9.

The armature 6 also comprises a flowing 16 integral with the slide 2, of complementary shape to the shape of the slide 2. The flange 16 is slidable along the slide 2, between a second end 17 and a point 18 of the slide 2. The flange 16 forms a pivot connection with a second end 19 of the spoke 10.

The tip 11, arranged so as to fix two panels 5 of fabric 4 to the frame 6, is secured to a second terminal 20 of the whale 9.

The whales 9 are, when the flowing 16 is positioned at the point 18 of the slide 2, positioned substantially perpendicularly to the slide 2, tending the panels 5 of fabric 4. The armature 6 is then said in the deployed position, shown in Figure 1. The deployed position allows a user to protect themselves from the weather or the sun.

The whales 9 are, when the flowing 16 is positioned at the second end 17 of the slide 2, positioned substantially parallel to the slide 2. The armature 6 is then called in the folded position, shown in Figure 2 The folded position allows a user to easily transport and store the device 1 of protection according to the invention.

The fabric 4 of the device 1 of protection according to the invention comprises a casing 21 integral with a panel 5 of canvas 4 called in the following description pan 22. In an embodiment not shown, the envelope 21 may be integral with several panels 22. In a particular embodiment, the fabric is in a substantially sealed material. This envelope can be sewn, glued or heat-welded to one or more sections 22 of the fabric 4.

In a preferred embodiment, the envelope 21 has a shape similar to the shape of the pan 22. The envelope 21 is attached to the junctions 8 of the pan 22, on an outer face 23 of the pan 22 opposite the frame 6, leaving one side 24 of the envelope 21 not fixed. The envelope 21 comprises a secondary face 25, shown dashed in the figures, and a primary face 26, shown in dashed lines in the figures.

As illustrated in Figure 1, when the armature 6 is in the deployed position, the casing 21 is substantially tensioned and pressed on the pan 22 so that the secondary face 25 of the casing 21 is in contact with the outer face 23 of the pan 22.

As illustrated in Figure 2, when the frame 6 is in the folded position, the envelope 21 and the panels 5 are expanded so that the envelope 21 can be turned around the fabric 4.

To protect external elements of the device 1 of protection according to the invention, for example when the device 1 of protection according to the invention is wet, when the armature 6 is in the folded position, a user can lift the envelope 21 and then return the envelope 21 around the fabric 4, as shown in Figures 3 and 4, so that the primary face 26 of the envelope 21 is in contact with the fabric 4. The envelope must be, for this, large enough for a user to lift and return the envelope around the canvas easily. With reference to FIGS. 1, 2 and 8, when the protection device 1 according to the invention is in the folded position, the width L (the width L being equal to the sum of the widths L1 and L2) of the envelope is preferably greater than one twice the height H of the folded whale, preferably an upper third. The casing 21 and the pan 22 then surround the slide 2 and the handle 3 of the protection device 1 according to the invention.

To retain the fabric 4, the frame 6, the slide 2 and the handle 3 of the device 1 of protection according to the invention between the casing 21 and the pan 22, the device 1 of protection according to the invention comprises a closing means 27 fastened to the envelope 21.

In a preferred embodiment, the closure means 27 comprises a cord 28.

As shown in Figure 5, the cord 28 is arranged to be tightened to retain the fabric 4, the frame 6, the slide 2 and the handle 3 in the envelope 21. A tip can be fixed with the cord to facilitate the tightening of the cord 28.

According to a second embodiment shown in Figure 8, the cord 28 forms a handle 280 allowing a user to wear said device 1 on the shoulder. A cord clamp, such as a spring ball, may be attached to the cord to facilitate tightening the cord 28.

According to a third embodiment shown in Figure 9, the cord 28 forming a loop 280 comprises a handle 281 located substantially in the middle of the segment of the cord 28 located outside the casing 21 when the armature 6 is in position deployed. The handle 281 makes the cord 28 more visible and more pleasant to handle, especially when it is wet by rain. Indeed, when the protective device 1 is carried on the shoulder by the cord 28, the handle makes it possible to limit the wet cord surface in contact with the shoulder. In addition, since the handle is a particularly visible element, it can serve as a support for a logo.

According to different embodiments, the closure means 27 comprises either a slide fastener having two complementary-shaped slides allowing, when they are brought into contact with one another, to obtain a detachable connection. type zipper, a mechanical adhesive comprising two strips each covered with a different texture allowing, when they are brought into contact with one another, to obtain a Velcro ® type removable connection, a button and a buttonhole, a snap.

In order to compress the armature 6, the protection device 1 according to the invention comprises a clamping means 29 fixed to the casing 21.

In a preferred embodiment, the clamping means 29 comprises two straps or strips 30 each provided with a mechanical adhesive Velcro ® type 31.

As illustrated in Figure 6, the straps or strips 30 are arranged so as to be able to grip the fabric 4 and the frame 6 of the device 1 of protection according to the invention, when using the straps or strips 30 .

According to a fourth embodiment shown in Figure 10, the clamping means 29 comprises a first band 300 of a first texture fixed on the secondary face of the casing 21 in a direction substantially parallel to the direction of the slide 2 when the armature 6 is in the folded position; and two other strips 301 and 302, of a second texture capable of adhering to the first texture, for example a Velcro®-type mechanical adhesive, fixed on the secondary face of the envelope 21 in a direction substantially perpendicular to the direction of the first band 300 so as to draw a rectangle of which a first side is on the first band 300, two sides adjacent to the first side are in the extension of the two other bands 301 and 302 and the last vertical side is in the inner zone delimited by the two other bands 301 and 302. The length of the two adjacent sides is slightly greater than the perimeter of the cylinder that represents the device 1 when the armature 6 is in the folded position. The length of the last side is slightly less than the length of the first band 300 which is itself slightly less than the height of the cylinder that represents the device 1 when the frame 6 is in the folded position. The other two strips 301 and 302 have a length large enough not to need to aim too precisely to adhere the two other strips 301 and 302 to the first band 300. The clamping means described in this paragraph can fold the device 1 according to a well formed cylinder while not needing to be precise when tightening.

According to various embodiments, the straps or bands 30, 300, 301 or 302 of the clamping means 29 comprise a button and a buttonhole, a snap fastener or a zipper, such as a zipper, comprising two slides of complementary shapes allowing, once brought into contact with each other, to obtain a removable connection, or a fastener, such as a clip, a clip or a hook.

The cord 28 is arranged to make the casing 21 substantially sealed when the armature 6 is in the folded position. In addition, the straps or strips 30, 300, 301 or 302, arranged so as to compress the armature 6, minimize the bulk of the protection device 1 according to the invention when the armature 6 is in the folded position.

As illustrated in FIG. 6 and FIG. 12, the casing 21 of the protection device 1 according to the invention, combined with the cord 28 and with the straps or strips 30, 300, 301 or 302 of the armature 6, facilitates the transport and storage of the device 1 of protection according to the invention.

It should be noted that the various embodiments can be combined with each other, as illustrated in FIGS. 11, 12 and 13. FIGS. 11, 12 and 13 show that the storage process of the protection device 1 only requires three actions on the part of the user. The first gesture is represented by the arrow of FIG. 11. It consists, while the armature 6 is in the folded position, in passing the envelope 21 by sliding the hand under the envelope 21 or through the cord 28 on the side of the panels 5 opposed to the slide 2 so as to turn over the canvas 4. The second gesture is represented by the arrow in Figure 12. It consists in pulling a first band 300 so as to cause the envelope 21 around the canvas until the envelope is stretched around the canvas. At this point, the first band is fixed, for example by a Velcro ® type system on two other bands 301 and 302. The third gesture is represented by the arrow of FIG. 13. It consists of pulling the cord 28 in one direction opposed to the device 1 of protection so as to close the envelope 21. This allows the user to wear the device 1 to the shoulder and keep hands free or put the device 1 in a bag.

Claims (12)

1. Protection device (1) comprising: a slide (2); an armature (6) fixed on the slide (2) and deformable between a folded position and an extended position; a fabric (4) comprising at least one panel (5) fixed on the armature (6); an envelope (21) integral with one or more panels (5) of the fabric (4), the envelope (21) being arranged so as to be able to turn around the fabric (4) when the reinforcement (6) is in the folded position; the device (1) for protection being characterized in that it comprises: means (27) for closing the envelope (21) once turned around the fabric (4), the means (27) for closing being fixed on at least the envelope (21), the closure means (27) being arranged to retain the fabric (4) in the envelope (21), and at least one means (29) for tightening the reinforcement (6) in the folded position. 2. Device (1) according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the means (27) for closing the envelope (21) comprises a bead (28). 3. Device (1) according to claim 2, characterized in that the cord (28) forms a loop (280) allowing a user to wear the device on the shoulder. 4. Device (1) according to claim 2 or 3, characterized in that the cord (28) comprises a cord holder, such as a spring ball, for holding the cord tight around the fabric; 5. Device (1) according to claim 3, characterized in that the cord (28) forming a loop (280) comprises a handle (281) located substantially in the middle of the segment of the cord (28) outside the envelope when the armature is in the deployed position, said handle to make said cord (28) more visible and more pleasant to handle. 6. Device (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the means (27) for closing the envelope (21) comprises a mechanical adhesive comprising two strips each covered with a different texture allowing, a once put in contact with each other, to obtain a removable connection. 7. Device (1) according to claim 8, characterized in that the at least one strip (30, 300, 301 or 302) comprises a button, such as a button coupled to a buttonhole or a snap button. 11. Device (1) according to claim 8, characterized in that the at least one strip (30, 300, 301 or 302) comprises a zipper, such as a zipper, comprising two slides of complementary shapes allowing once brought into contact with each other, to obtain a removable connection. 12. Device (1) according to claim 8, characterized in that the at least one strip (30, 300, 301 or 302) comprises a fastener, such as a clip, a staple or a hook.
