Abstract

La présente invention concerne un dispositif amovible de stabilisation (1) d'un fauteuil roulant (2) comportant au moins un châssis (3), des grandes roues arrières (4) montées libres en rotation sur un essieu solidaire dudit châssis (3) et des petites roues avant (4) pivotantes ; ledit dispositif est remarquable en ce qu'il comporte au moins un bras (6) muni à une première extrémité d'une roue secondaire (7) et, entre son extrémité opposée et la partie centrale du bras (6), de moyens de solidarisation amovibles (8) coopérant avec le moyeu de l'une des roues arrières (4) du fauteuil roulant (2) et des moyens (9) pour déplacer la roue secondaire (7) depuis une position rétractée dans laquelle ladite roue secondaire (7) s'étend au dessus du sol jusqu'à une position active dans laquelle la roue secondaire (7) prend appui sur le sol et inversement. Another object of the invention relates to a wheelchair equipped with at least one stabilization device according to the invention.
