Abstract

La présente invention se rapporte à l'utilisation d'une composition, pour la fabrication d'un joint pour emballage de transport et/ou d'entreposage de matière radioactive, cette composition comprenant au moins un élastomère et au moins une charge lamellaire dispersée dans ledit élastomère et choisie parmi les hydroxydes doubles lamellaires, les phyllosilicates, l'hydroxyde de magnésium et la boéhmite. L'invention se rapporte également à l'utilisation d'un matériau obtenu à partir d'une telle composition. L'invention se rapporte enfin à un joint fabriqué à partir d'une telle composition ou comprenant un tel matériau, ainsi qu'à un emballage de transport et/ou d'entreposage de matière radioactive comprenant au moins un tel joint.
