The invention relates to a construction system by stacking composite blocks assembled together by means of rails. The composite blocks consist of at least one insulating wafer (1) framed by at least two posts (2) (3) fixed on each face of said wafer. The blocks comprise a bracing wafer (4) fixed to the first row of posts (2) of the blocks, as found from the inside of the future dwelling and a wafer (5), attached to the last row of posts of the blocks, as found always starting from the interior of the future dwelling. The fixing of the blocks between them, both horizontally and vertically, is ensured by the installation of nails, screws, or dowels, passing through the bracing section (4) of the blocks concerned to be inserted into the common support rail (8). .
Description
The invention relates to a construction system by stacking composite blocks assembled together by means of rails. Traditionally, this kind of stacking construction uses massive woods such as logs. This poses problems of cost, thermal performance and settlement. A solution for stacking more efficient composite blocks is proposed through the patent FR 2967429 "building system constituted by a stack of composite blocks assembled together by means of smooth". However, this solution which is inspired by the constitution of wood frame walls has some disadvantages. It implements, in particular in the composition of the proposed blocks, a succession of insulating slices and slices of structure, which slices of structure are likely to constitute vapor barriers. There is therefore a risk of condensation of water vapor within the block whose insulating slices are not ventilated. In addition, this repetition of slices of structure weighs down and increases the whole. In addition, the solution works with several smooth rails while only one could be enough. Finally, the device remains rather indefinite as regards the fixing of the elements between them. The purpose of the present invention is therefore to overcome these various disadvantages. It concerns the definition of a composite block made of different slices, insulating, bracing, coating and stanchions, and the fixing of several blocks between them. As previously explained, the internal structure slices of the composite block, as proposed in the FR 2967429 patent, are likely to constitute vapor barriers. The body of the composite blocks must therefore be limited in its constitution to insulating slices and posts forming the framework. Also, and according to a first major claim of the invention, the composite blocks consist of at least one insulating wafer framed by two rows of at least two posts fixed on each side of said wafer. The proper functioning of these insulating slices, which may for example be made of rigid wood fiber, assumes that they can be ventilated. Also, and according to another claim of the invention, the spaces between the posts are left empty. The said posts replace the traditional wooden frame. It is therefore necessary to connect them to a slice of bracing, itself linked to a support bar. But this slice of bracing is likely to constitute a vapor barrier. It must therefore be placed so that it is on the inner side of the future elevation. Also, and according to another characteristic of the invention, the blocks comprise a bracing wafer attached to the first row of studs of the blocks, as found from the interior of the future dwelling. This slice of bracing must be, as said before, connected to a holding rail for connecting several blocks placed side by side, but also two rows of said blocks. It is therefore necessary that the elevation of these blocks incorporates a reservation necessary for the installation of this smooth. Also, and according to another characteristic of the invention, the arrangement of the posts between the brace and the insulating wafer, said posts - 3 - being lower than said slices, form, above and below said posts, clean spaces to allow the installation of a support rail. In addition, and according to another characteristic of the invention, said spaces are arranged in depth so that a holding rail can fit perfectly between two rows of said blocks, filling the high laying space of one and the low pose space of the other.
This assembly of several blocks must be rigid. Also, and according to another claim of the invention, the fixing blocks between them, both horizontally and vertically, is ensured by the installation of nails, screws, or dowels, crossing the bracing section of the blocks concerned to ficha in the common support rail. Insulating slices thus previously defined must be protected from the outside. It is also necessary to ensure a finished aspect to the elevation.
Also, and according to another characteristic of the invention, the blocks comprise a wafer bonded to the last row of posts of the blocks, as encountered from the inside of the future dwelling.
Thus, the space between the posts can neutralize any infiltration of moisture before they reach the insulating slices. This slice to be coated can be made with a material used in the context of insulation techniques from the outside.
According to a particular embodiment, the blocks may comprise not one but several insulating slices separated by posts, the outer faces of this set, each carrying at least two posts fixed on said faces.
