Abstract
Description
CONTENANT COMESTIBLE. CONTAINING EDIBLE. The invention relates to a self-supporting container made of edible material. We know reusable containers that are for example glass. Disposable containers made of plastic material or cardboard 5 covered with a film are known. Containers made of edible material WO 02/21980 made for example of chocolate are also known. These are interesting on two points. The first point is for the creativity of the cook who can place in his edible container, a cream, a mousse, a compote or even serve liquids and therefore propose a new recipe. The second point is the reduction of waste because in principle we can eat everything: the contents and the container. However, for reasons of hygiene, the outer face of the container is often covered with a protective film 15 to prevent direct contact of the fingers of the hand with the container. It is often a peelable film. Users must remove this film to consume the container. This causes inconvenience. Indeed, the film is a single piece and it must be removed before consumption and as soon as we grab the container, the fingers are then in contact with the chocolate that melts or the film is removed at the end and the consumer did not taste the mixture containing and contained. The invention proposes to provide a solution.
For this purpose, the subject of the invention is a self-supporting container comprising an edible part and a protective part capable of being grasped by the hand, this container being characterized in that, on the one hand, the protective part is rigid, has a seat and an upwardly facing cavity for receiving the lower portion of the edible portion and, secondly, the bottom of the cavity of the receiving portion has a hollow central area for receiving a sticky material before interlocking the edible portion. The invention will be better understood from the following description given by way of non-limiting example with reference to the drawing which represents: Zo FIG 1: a container in vertical section FIG 2: the edible part FIG 3: The part inedible FIG4 seen from above of the inedible portion. FIG 5: The two parts being assembled Referring to the drawing, there is shown a self-supporting container 1 comprising an edible portion 2 and a protective portion 3 for grasping the container without touching the edible portion. The edible part 2 is the receptacle for receiving food. It can take the form of a cup more or less flared depending on its purpose. This edible portion could be chocolate, sugar or bread etc. that is, a material that can be shaped or molded and capable of containing a food or a liquid. For bread, include products containing flour such as pasta or waffles etc.
Advantageously, on the one hand, the protective portion 3 is rigid, has a seat 3A and a cavity 3B facing upwards to receive the lower portion 2A of the edible part and on the other hand, the bottom 3C of the cavity of the said protective portion has a central 3D zone dug to accommodate a tacky material deposited before interlocking the edible part on the receiving part. The protective part 3 has the function of avoiding direct contact of the hands with the edible part and also to confer on the mounted assembly its self-supporting capacity.
Advantageously, since the hollow central zone 3D, 3E grooves radiate to guide the sticky material towards the periphery to distribute said material during the interlocking of the edible part. This bonding solution makes it possible to distribute the adhesion zones well, the distribution taking place under the effect of the pressure generated during the engagement of the edible part on the protective part. To optimize this bonding, the bottom 3C of the cavity is concave. Pressurization of the two elements for said bonding is performed when the container is positioned upside down that is to say the receiving cavity facing downwards (Figure 5). Thus, when the inedible portion is engaged on the edible portion, the container being inverted, the tacky material will flow under the effect of pressure. The distribution of the sticky material will be guided by the curved wall of the bottom, the gravity and the grooves. The amount of sticky material is limited to cover only the bottom and prevent the sticky material from being seen on the sides as the inedible portion will preferably be transparent. We do not seek to obtain significant resistance because we must be able to separate without great effort the two parties to eat the edible part. Providing a hollow central zone makes it possible to center the bonding point.
This glue makes it possible to sufficiently hold the two nested pieces. This glue will be food and will have to be able to solidify. One can not foresee a tight interlocking because the food part can vary dimensionally. In the drawings, there is shown an example of water-glass type container.
The height of the protective part is of the order of 2 cm sufficient for the fingers. She is transparent. To be more easily grasped, the bottom wall of the cavity is located away from the seat which is defined as the lower edge of a cylinder which flares slightly downward. It can be seen that the external generatrix of this protective part is curved with an outwardly facing concavity. The material used for this protective part will preferably be recyclable. This produces an original container.
