Abstract

The method involves applying a curable material on a hollow metal mold i.e. curved cylinder, and the curable material is solidified, where the mold is made of a phase change material. The phase of the mold is changed after the curable material is solidified. The mold is in complex shape and provided with internal compartments. The curable material is applied to the mold in a form of fiber impregnated with resin, and an anti-wear coating is provided for a tubular unit i.e. tube (1). An independent claim is also included for a tubular unit comprising a bent part.
