Abstract

The headrest has a foam bonded to a frame i.e. arch (2), and a protective cover enclosing the foam. A flexible separation envelope is inserted around the frame and placed between the foam and the frame so as to reduce an adhesive surface (8) between the foam and the frame. The frame has cylindrical and parallel segments (5) and a tubular junction segment (6) surrounded by an elastic insert (7) of the envelope, where dimension of the adhesive surface is less than dimension of parts of the cylindrical and parallel segments when not covered by the insert. An independent claim is also included for a method for fabrication of a head-rest.
