Abstract
Description
The invention relates to an electric heater with heat transfer fluid. In the field of heating, we have already imagined a large number of devices. In installations with central heating, for example, a boiler is used for heating a heat transfer fluid which supplies a plurality of radiators. Also known dry resistance electric heaters or oil and, in the latter case, the resistance is directly immersed in the heat exchanger in particular a radiator, the circulation of the oil being natural. The inventor has devised an original apparatus whose performance is particularly interesting. The heating apparatus according to the invention is particularly remarkable in that it comprises a heater provided with at least one electrical resistance disposed in a heat-transfer fluid reservoir, said reservoir being connected via a circulator of fluid to at least one heating radiator. According to the invention it is understood that the heat transfer fluid is preheated before being sent to the radiator which serves as a heat exchanger with the medium to be heated, in this case the atmosphere when heating a room. Advantageously, the resistance of the heater can be arranged in a sealed tube, itself immersed in the tank of said heater, in particular to prevent the formation of gas. For example, the radiator is a conventional central heating radiator heat transfer fluid. In this case it is sufficient to connect the heater according to the invention directly to the radiator, in order to obtain a separate electrical heater 25 independent of any boiler. This allows in particular to use existing radiators and remove the boiler or to supply one or more radiators disconnected from the heating circuit of said boiler. However, according to a particular embodiment, the radiator is constituted at least in part by a second reservoir. According to another embodiment, the radiator is constituted by a tube of any shape. In this way the radiator may in particular have a decorative function and / or allow interesting applications in the field of heating a tank, a tank or a pool, wherein said radiator is immersed.
According to a preferred embodiment for heating a room, the radiator is constituted by a coil that winds around the heater tank, and for example in this case, the ends of the coil are connected respectively at the top and partly at the top. bottom of the heater tank, the circulator being arranged on said coil to ensure a circulation of the fluid so that it enters the upper part and leaves the lower part of said tank. The invention will be well understood and other features will appear on reading the description which follows and which refers to the accompanying drawings in which: - Figure 1 shows schematically in elevation an embodiment of the invention,
Figure 3 is a partial end view of the embodiment of Figures 1 and 2.
In the embodiment shown, and given by way of example, there is shown schematically in the drawings a heater 1 immersed in a tank 2 of heat transfer fluid and in this case water optionally mixed with additives. The heater 1 is constituted here by an electrical resistance 3 disposed in a sealed tube 4 for the reasons mentioned above. The electrical resistor 25 (3) is powered by an electrical circuit not shown more specifically. The tank 2 comprises in its lower part a fluid outlet 5 connected to the end of a coil 6 via a fluid circulator 7. The coil 6 is wound, as shown in the drawings, around the tank 2 to which it is also connected at its other end to the upper part of said tank to form a fluid inlet 8. Operation is now easy to understand. The heater 1 heats the water contained in the tank 2, which water circulates in the coil 6 by means of the circularizer 7. The circulation of the water is effected in the direction of the arrows shown in the drawings, that is to say from departure 5 to arrival 8.
In the embodiment shown in the drawings the coil 6 constitutes the heating radiator according to the invention, but it is clear that said radiator may be constituted by any other means and / or have another shape. For example, as already said, it may be a conventional radiator, a tank, or a simple tube of any shape. In this way, the invention relates both to the heating of a room, with or without a decorative function, the heating of a tank, a tank or even a pool, wherein said tube is immersed . Finally, other means can of course be provided without departing from the scope of the invention, such as, for example, the expansion vessel (9) shown diagrammatically in FIG. 1, but also a thermostat and / or means for filling and purge tank, and / or a fan with or without filtration system.
