Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif permettant de corriger l'eau de boisson des ruminants laissant l'eau des canalisations sécurisée et l'eau des autres espèces (en particulier les monogastriques) légèrement acide ; ceci tout en apportant des oligoéléments. La correction de l'eau sera progressive et s'arrêtera dès qu'elle aura atteint un pH objectif. Il est constitué d'un prémélange composé de carbonate de calcium et de carbonate de sodium. Associées à de l'eau et dès que le brassage de ce mélange cesse ou dure trop longtemps, ces deux matières premières s'agrègent pour former une concrétion solide et dispersible dans l'eau. Ces 2 matières premières au pouvoir alcalinisant remonteront donc le pH de l'eau jusqu'au pH objectif. La correction du caractère acidogène de l'ingéré s'effectue traditionnellement via des substances tampons ajoutées dans la ration, à l'efficacité limitée. En effet, l'alimentation solide constitue environ 53 kg brut contre une ingestion d'eau d'environ 120 kg. L'autre solution consiste à un traitement global des eaux du réseau affectant toutes les espèces même les monogastriques où une eau acide est préférée. L'eau acide permet aussi de sécuriser les canalisations d'eau en limitant le développement microbien. Le dispositif selon l'invention permet de remédier à cet inconvénient. En effet, il s'intéresse au premier aliment des ruminants : l'eau et laisse l'eau des autres espèces (en particulier les monogastriques) légèrement acide. Conditionné sous forme de galet, il va se dissoudre lentement et de manière homogène au contact de l'eau tout en apportant des oligoéléments. Sa dispersion s'arrête lorsque le pH objectif est atteint. Le galet corrige instantanément le pH du bac d'eau même sur un volume important.
