Abstract

The device has a set of centerboards with a round leading edge (2), and a hollow cut off rib (4) placed on an interior side of the centerboards with respect to a boat. The cut off rib is located from an outer side of the centerboards by departing from the leading edge. Thickness of the cut off rib is equal to half of thickness of the centerboards. The cut off rib is arranged in parallel to the leading edge and extended toward a trailing edge. The centerboard is designed in a same proportion as that of a national advisory committee for aeronautic profile.

Avec le plan antidérive classique la chute de portance pour des angles d'incidence supérieurs à 12°, provoque sur le profil intrados un décrochement dû au décollement des filets d'eau.
