Abstract

The method involves realizing a unique design and shape that are defined by parameters or mathematical formulae such as recursively defined sequences, obtained from Chaos theory, of a decorative object or a jewel. The unique design and shape is obtained from a database containing a set of designs and shapes, where the database provides a new shape and design for the object or jewel, and the decorative object and jewel is sold with a unique serial number.

Description

The object of the present invention is to produce jewels and decorative objects whose uniqueness of shape or design which adorns it can be guaranteed to the consumer who buys it.

This guarantee is generally administered by including in the decorative object or the jewel a clearly unique natural component: rare gem, identifiable by its defects, stone whose shape is the result of a random process, fossil material, vegetable or animal matter, insect inlaid. But these obviously unique natural objects are rare and of a very high price or pose environmental problems, problems of preservation of the species, or psychological problems.

The method according to the invention consists in replacing the obviously unique natural component cited above by a shape or a drawing whose uniqueness is guaranteed by computerized means.

Il a ainsi l'assurance d'être le seul à posséder cet ornement.35 The method according to the invention consists in producing drawings or shapes defined by mathematical formulas derived from the chaos theory, such as the recurring twin sequences which make it possible to define a very large variety of shapes and drawings. These shapes and drawings are selected for their aesthetic qualities by designers who use for this a computer software capable of representing the mathematical objects defined by the formulas and the parameters they submit to it. The method, according to the invention, consists in a second phase, for the designers, to propose triplets formula / parameters / drawing, or formula / parameters / form that they have selected to a database that contains the set of triplets formula / parameter / form and formula / parameter / drawing already made according to this method. The database accepts only the original triplets and their deputy a unique serial number. It can do this by first verifying that the formula is original, and if it is not the case, check that the parameters used by the drawings and shapes present in the base that use this formula are not identical or close to those used. by the drawing or the proposed form. The method according to the invention consists in making decorative objects and jewels adorned by the shapes and drawings present in the database by using each shape and each drawing only for a single object or jewelry. For this, the manufacturer uses computerized printing means such as inkjet printing or laser engraving or rapid prototyping means such as numerically controlled milling. The method according to the invention consists in selling these objects with their unique serial number and allowing the consumer to identify himself in the database, as the owner of the drawing or the form which adorns the object that he acquired. He thus has the assurance of being the only one to possess this ornament.35
