Abstract

The seat (1) has a dampening rear part (2) for receiving a heel of a shoe and separated from a remaining part (9) of the seat by a frontier constituted by two lateral notches (3), to dampen forces exerted on an upper surface of the seat. The notches are placed in lateral zones of the seat and extend in a longitudinal direction. A foam layer is placed on a part of the upper surface, and the frontier includes a deformable band. A rubber or foam type dampening element is placed between the rear part and a snowboard.
