Abstract
The lid (3) comprises a flat mounting surface arranged on its outer periphery for fixing by screw. The lid is made from a thermoplastic material reinforced by glass fibers, and is covered with a chemically compatible metallic material and the thermoplastic material to ensure a grip, where the modulus of elasticity of compatible metallic material is greater than the modulus of elasticity of the thermoplastic material. The thickness of the metallic material is determined by the rigidity required in the lid. The lid (3) comprises a flat mounting surface arranged on its outer periphery for fixing by screw. The lid is made from a thermoplastic material reinforced by glass fibers, and is covered with a chemically compatible metallic material and the thermoplastic material to ensure a grip, where the modulus of elasticity of compatible metallic material is greater than the modulus of elasticity of the thermoplastic material. The thickness of the metallic material is determined by the rigidity required in the lid. One of the two sides or both sides such as internal and external sides of the lid respectively are covered with the metallic material. The inner face of the lid comprises ribs of reinforcements, which are coated with metallic material. The inner surface is able to receive a gasket for sealing the housing of the transmission and of which the energy of the surface is greater than the same non-coated face of the metallic material. The inner surface of the lid is equipped with anchoring points protruding from the inner face and able to receive and maintain an oil trough. The metallic material has a grain size of 2-5000 nm and a thickness of 25 mu m to 5 mm. The thermoplastic material is selected from the family of PA6 GF35, PA66 GF35, PA66 GF 30, PA46 GF30 or GF30 PPA.
