Abstract

The invention relates to a device for storing on oneself, temporarily and in full protection, his pair of glasses. This process avoids wearing glasses on the head, which has the effect of disrupting the branches or have them around the neck, hanging from a cord that may damage them by bumping.Il consists of a casing C, having an orifice B in which is inserted a pair of glasses A, emerging from the cavity H, and resting on the convex zone G. Description

The present invention is a magnetic device to be fixed on the

  clothing. It consists of two elements, a shell and a half shell to fit one into the other, allowing the storage of a pair of glasses.

  The wearing and / or storage of the glasses (when not worn on the nose) is usually provided by a holster, a cord around the neck, or a fit on the head.The holster is not the ideal object for a temporary storage, and the glasses worn on the head have the disadvantage of disregarding the spacing of the branches. Finally the latter hanging around the neck with a cord, and swaying as soon as the user sits or moves energetically, may be damaged by hitting the office.

  The device according to the invention overcomes these disadvantages. It comprises in fact according to a first characteristic, a small shell attached to the height of the chest of a person having an orifice through which is introduced the branch of the glasses. The attached drawing illustrates this in Figure 1:

  - Rigid hull composed of two parts (C) and (D), connected by two magnets (E) and (F). At least one branch of glasses (A) is introduced into the hole (B), and out through the cavity (H) and rests on the curved area (G). This shell is fixed at the height of the chest of the user, the part (C) being visible cooperating with the part (D) invisible behind the garment.

  According to particular embodiments, several holding and guiding techniques prevent the pair of glasses from moving when stored in its support:

  - Unique, flexible and curved blade made of plastic material in a single injection molding operation, integral with the shell. This blade is located in the area of the orifice, and stabilizes the branch of glasses, once introduced.

  - Intersection of thin flexible strips of plastic material (one under the other) located in the orifice, they curve while allowing the sliding and stabilization of the glasses branch. These slats are integral with the hull.

  - Two rubber pads located in the area of the orifice, one facing each other, touching the edges and rounded forms, fixed to the shell by gluing. These pads stabilize the branch of the glasses, once introduced. -2- On the back of the shell a central structure allows to house and maintain a magnet, around which, a peripheral surface is inserted by coming to nest in the peripheral surface of the half shell behind the garment.

  Right out of the hole, the eyeglass branch is guided by a curved area at the front of the shell, slightly tilting the pair of glasses.

  On the front part of the hull, a small narrow and curved canal with walls, allows to better guide the branch of glasses.

  According to an illustrated variant located on the front part of the shell, an orifice between a branch of metal spectacles and the magnet allows additional magnetism.

  According to an illustrated variant, a plastic partition located in the upper orifice of the shell allows the introduction of two glasses branches. This partition avoids that the two branches collide when handled. The device can thus support two pairs of glasses.

  The accompanying drawings illustrate the invention. FIG. 1 is an exploded view of the entire device of the invention.

  Figure 2 shows in section, a variant of this device for holding a glasses branch by rubber pads.

  Figure 3 shows in section, a variant of this device for holding a glasses branch by a plastic blade.

  Figure 4 shows in section, a variant of this device for holding a glasses branch by a series of plastic slats.

  Figure 5 shows a front view of a variant of this device, provided with a small curved channel, an orifice giving a view of the magnet.

  6 shows an exploded view of the entire device of the invention and a variant for introducing into the shell two branches, for two pairs of glasses. The device according to the invention is particularly intended for storing a pair of glasses.

Claims (9)

  1) Magnetic support device for spectacles to be fixed on clothing, characterized in that it consists of a rigid shell (C) having an orifice (B) on the upper part of the shell, allowing the introduction of at least one eyeglass branch (A), guiding means (H) of the branch on the front portion of the shell and means for holding a magnet (F) on the rear portion of the shell cooperating with another magnet (E) disposed behind the garment on which the device is fixed.   2) support device for glasses according to claim 1 characterized in that it comprises a thin and flexible strip (2) of plastic and curved, located in the orifice (B) integral with the hull coming to immobilize the branch (A) introduced against the hull.   3) support device for spectacles according to claim 2 characterized in that it comprises a series of thin slats (3) thin and flexible plastic (one under the other and intersecting), located in the orifice (B) these slats ( 3) bend during the passage of the branch of glasses (A) while allowing the sliding and stabilization, they are integral with the hull coming to immobilize the branch (A) introduced against the hull.   4) support device for glasses according to claim 3 characterized in that it comprises two rubber pads (1) located in the orifice (B) positioned one opposite the other, touching by their edges rounded forms, integral with the entire shell by the bonding technique, coming to immobilize the branch (A) introduced against the hull.   5) support device for glasses according to claim 4 characterized in that the holding means are constituted on the back of the shell (C) of a central structure for accommodating the magnet (F) whose periphery is inserted in s nesting in the periphery (I) of the half shell (D) disposed behind the garment.   6) support device for glasses according to claim 5 characterized in that the guide means is formed on the front part of the shell (C), a convex zone (G) for slightly inclining the pair of glasses.   7) support device for spectacles according to claim 6 characterized in that the guide means is formed on the front part of the shell (C), a small channel (5) narrow and curved with walls to guide the stems of eyeglasses.   8) support device for spectacles according to claim 7 characterized in that the guide means is formed on the front portion of the shell (C), an orifice (4) facilitating the magnetic contact of a branch (A) metal and the magnet (F).   9) support device for spectacles according to claim 8 characterized in that it comprises a partition (6) made of plastic, located in the orifice (B) integral with the shell for the introduction of the branches (7) of two pairs of glasses inserted into the hole (B).
