Abstract

Wheel suspension device comprises a subunit (15) for filtering vibrations and distributing stress that is attached to a plastic base body (13) of a roller bearing support cover (7) and has a bearing surface for a spring. The subunit has a vibration filter element (16) provided with reinforcement (17). An independent claim is also included for a MacPherson strut unit comprising a shock absorber (4) and the above wheel suspension device. Preferred Features: The filter element is made of polyurethane or nitrile rubber and is sprayed onto the reinforcement or the support cover.
