PRIOR ART Most motor vehicles are equipped with sun visor pallets to protect the driver and, where appropriate, his passenger from the rays of sunlight that can strike the upper part of the windshield.   They are also poorly suited to certain vehicles currently developed, which have a large glazed area, either because the windshield extends over part of the flag, or because the flag itself is glazed. In this case, the conventional sun visor only conceals a limited portion of the glass surface, and is practically useless.

  In this case, moreover, we have developed roller blind devices to overcome this drawback. But this technique, if effective, does not replace a sun visor. The blind deploys in only one plane, while the pallet can be moved in at least two directions, to obtain a precise positioning, for example along the windshield or the side window, as needed.

  Furthermore, the installation of a conventional roller blind instead of a sun visor is difficult to envisage, especially if the space is essentially glazed.

  4. OBJECTIVES OF THE INVENTION The object of the invention is notably to overcome these disadvantages of the prior art.

  More specifically, an object of the invention is to provide a sun visor palette which retains these classic characteristics, while allowing a concealment of better quality, when necessary. For better quality, here means in particular a better coverage of an area to hide according to the needs of the user.

  Another object of the invention is to provide such a technique, which is suitable for vehicles having a large glazed area, and for example vehicles with a glazed roof.

  Another object of the invention is to provide such a technique which is simple to implement and to use.

  4. Objective of the invention These objectives, as well as others which will appear later, are achieved with the aid of a windshield for windshields of a motor vehicle comprising a roller blind, comprising a canvas of occultation mounted on a retractor tube housed in a cassette and driven by a draw bar.

  Said cassette and said pull bar are designed, according to the invention, so as to cooperate to form a minimum sun visor pallet, when said fabric is folded.

  According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, said cassette and said draw bar fit into one another, when said fabric is folded, to form the minimum pallet.

  Advantageously, said cassette is connected to said vehicle via a ball joint.

DESCRIPTION OF A PREFERRED EMBODIMENT The invention is therefore based on a new approach to sunglass pallets, according to which a roller blind is added to the device, in order to increase the occult surface, if necessary. retaining the advantages of a conventional sun visor pallet, and in particular by providing a minimum pallet, when the awning fabric is folded.

  Figs. 1A and 1B illustrate a first embodiment of the invention. In Fig. 1A, the awning fabric is folded while unfolded (or being unfolded) in Fig. 1B.

  As seen in Figure 1A, in the folded position, the device forms a pallet of conventional type, except that its height is reduced in size. It can for example extend about 60 mm, to form a minimum pallet. Of course, if desired, this dimension can be increased, for example so that the pallet is similar in size to a conventional pallet.

  This pallet thus consists of two elements brought into contact with each other to form a whole: a cassette 11, carrying a double winder; and a draw bar 12.

  The shapes of this cassette 11 and this draw bar 12 are adapted to define a palette.

  The cassette 11 also carries a fastening rod 13, ending in a conventional ball joint, allowing the pallet to move in at least two directions, as illustrated by the arrows A and B of FIG. 1B. An opening 111 may be arranged in the cassette to allow clipping of the rod 13, in a conventional manner per se.

  The cassette and drawbar are also suitable for loading the usual optional functions of a sun visor, if necessary.

  According to the invention, the area covered by the sun visor pallet can therefore be increased by the deployment of a shade cloth 15, as shown in FIG. 1 B. As required, the maximum length of the fabric can be for example between 120 and 400 mm.

  Balancing means are provided on the one hand to maintain the fabric in the selected unfolded position, and on the other hand to control that the pull bar 12 remains parallel to the cassette 11.

  In the embodiment illustrated in FIG. 1B, these means comprise two compasses 16A, 16B, each formed of two links.

  Figure 2 illustrates, in section, the mechanism of the device of Figure 1 B. The cassette 11, made for example of plastic material, receives the axis, or the rod 13, which has for example a diameter of 6 mm. It also carries the retractor tube 21 on which the fabric 15 is mounted.

  The other end of the fabric 151 is secured to the cassette 12.

  Furthermore, the cassette 11 carries, via an axis allowing rotation, a first end of each rod 32, whose second end is hingedly connected to a first end of the rod 33, whose second end is secured to the draw bar 12, so as to form the two holding and guiding compasses.

  To do this, the fabric 51 is held, conventionally, at one of its ends, the retractor tube 53, and at its other end to the cassette 54, by a fixing point 55 provided for this purpose. The fabric circulates around a roller 56 (fixed or rotating) mounted in the draw bar. The fabric 51 circulates around the roll 56, so that it deploys in double thickness, the link mechanism 52 remaining concealed between the two thicknesses of the fabric.

  FIGS. 6A and 6B show an example of implementation of the system of FIG. 5. Cassette 54 is painted, or coated with a coating adapted to the passenger compartment of the vehicle.   This produces a device having concealable dimensions in front and side, with a small footprint, in the folded position. The invention makes it possible to maintain the double rotation of the sun visor pallets, with good ergonomics, and in particular rapid retraction of the fabric.
