Abstract

The device has a calibrated grid (2) positioned on a guide (3) and perforated with different rows of orifices (9, 9a, 9b) with a numerical marking on a side of the grid. A calibrated strip (7) permits to determine number of beads (6, 6a, 6b) on the grid by positioning a container (5) corresponding to a chosen number on the strip. A rod (4) is introduced in the guide to block the orifices for retaining the beads during counting. A brush (8) spreads the beads for filling all the orifices in upstream of the grid, and the orifices are liberated by retiring the rod to drop the beads.

  The present invention relates to a device for counting the beads according to a chosen caliber.

  The counting of the beads is often done manually, which can make the operation tiring especially when it is carried out over a long period thus generating errors on the final result.

  Due to their small size counting pearls often requires concentration at the expense of productivity.

  The device according to the invention overcomes these drawbacks.I1 has in fact according to a first feature, a parallelepiped bin whose double inner walls are vee-shaped and each side portion is perforated in their axis of a rectangular orifice . A shape guide corresponding to the orifice is housed. A calibrated grid, of larger section, perforated with several rows of orifice with a numerical marking on the side allowing a quick count of pearls by reference to the digit visualized. A sliding bucket located in the tray and on the calibrated grid allows after positioning said bucket on a number, to obtain the desired amount of pearl. Once the pearls have been poured in sufficient quantity in the tank and on the front part of the calibrated grid, a brush makes it possible to slide them on said calibrated grid, perforated to the diameter of the pearls by making them fall into the orifices filling of this made all said orifices necessary to obtain the desired amount of beads relative to the positioning of the bucket on the number of the calibrated grid. The excess of pearls is then recovered in the bucket then empty. A rod of smaller section relative to the guide is introduced into the latter to obstruct the orifices located on the calibrated grid preventing the beads poured into the tray and the calibrated grid from falling into said guide. By gradually withdrawing the rod in the guide and in the opposite direction, the beads are released and simply fall into the guide and pushing said rod bead fallen in the guide are discharged and recovered at the outer end.

  According to particular embodiments: The tray can be equipped at both ends with two self-locking levers to immobilize the calibrated grid on the upper part of the guide.

  With reference to this drawing, the device comprises a parallelepipedic tray whose interior is lined with a wall at the front and at the back, flared at its upper part in the shape of a vee (1), forming the main body of which the lateral ends are perforated on each part of a rectangular opening and one of which allows to let out a short length of the guide (3) which is at the bottom of the tray (1). The guide (3) having a corresponding shape in the hollow of the tray (1) is housed therein. On the upper level of the guide (3) is placed the calibrated perforated grid (2). A graduated band (7) along the calibrated grid (2) makes it possible to display the number of beads that the user wishes to obtain. Each graduation corresponds to a number of orifices in the calibrated grid indicating the number of pearls contained in the orifices (9, 9a, 9b). The bucket (5) is placed in the tray (1) and on the grid 2. -2890470 calibrated (2) by a sliding effect the user positions the bucket (5) on one of the numbers of the graduated band according to the number of desired pearls. The rod (4) is inserted into the guide (3) to obstruct the orifices (9, 9a, 9b) in the calibrated grid (2) to retain the beads during the counting. The brush (8) is used to spread the beads (6,6a, 6b) so as to fill all the orifices (9, 9a, 9b) lying in front of the limit fixed by the positioning of the bucket (5), and by evacuating the excess of beads in the cup (5).

  According to a variant not shown, the tray can be equipped at both ends of two self-locking levers to immobilize the calibrated grid on the upper part of the guide. By way of example and not limitation, the tray will have dimensions of about 12 cm for width 10 and height and 50 cm for length.

Claims (3)

  1) Device for counting the beads according to a chosen caliber characterized in that it comprises a parallelepiped bin whose interior is lined with a wall at the front and rear, flared at its upper part in the shape of a vee (1) and whose base terminates in a right-angled channel, the interior of which is housed the guide (3) which passes through the side walls from one side and protruding only on one of the two sides of a sufficient length to facilitate the recovery of pearls.Our Guide (3) is placed a calibrated grid (2), it is perforated with several rows of orifices corresponding to the caliber beads (6,6a, 6b) desired by the user. On this calibrated grid (2) a graduated band (7) makes it possible to determine the number of beads by matching the positioning of the bucket (5), which acts as a cursor, to the number chosen on this band. This number indicates to the user the number of orifices (9,9a, 9b) in the grid upstream of the bucket (5). The rod (4) of shape corresponding to the guide (3) is introduced to obstruct the orifices of the calibrated grid (2) thereby to retain the beads (6, 6a, 6b) during counting. The brush (8) is used to spread the beads so as to fill all the orifices (9,9a, 9b) upstream of the bucket, the excess beads is discharged into the cup (5). By removing the rod (3), the orifices (9,9a, 9b) are released causing the beads (6,6a, 6b) to fall, which are then pushed outwards by the rod (3).   2) Device according to claim 1 characterized in that the tray can be equipped at both ends with two self-locking levers to immobilize the calibrated grid (2) on the upper part of the guide (4).   3) Device according to claim 1 and claim 2 characterized in that a magnetic tape or a band of the same width and other any other material obstructs on a portion of the top the orifices (9, 9a, 9b) of the calibrated grid (2).
