Abstract
The brake has an integrated blocking installation with a pressure chamber (9) between a brake piston (2) and an auxiliary piston (4). A spring unit prestresses the piston (4) in the piston`s (2) direction. A screw installation has a free wheel nut (6) connected to the piston (4) so that the nut (6) rotates around a screw when the piston (4) is moved in an axial direction. A locking installation locks or liberates the nut`s movement. The nut has a thread (11), in contact with the screw, in opposite direction to that of a thread (12) in contact with a wear compensating unit (3). An independent claim is also included for a method for mechanical locking of a blocking position of a blocking installation of a vehicle brake.
