  The present invention relates to a device for facilitating the watering of plants grown in pots.

  Ordinarily, to recover the excess irrigation water the pot is placed on a saucer. But this way of doing has disadvantages: For aesthetic reasons, the section of the saucer, rectangular or circular, is very little greater than that of the pot. Therefore, since a good part of the container is occupied by the base of the pot, its actual capacity is relatively low, which can be disadvantageous.

  So when the earth is dry and cracked, paradoxically the water flows quickly and fills the useful volume of the saucer from the beginning of watering and must be stopped for fear of overflow. The water flowing in the saucer stagnates until complete evaporation, and the lower part of the pot is bathed in high humidity for a long time, which is very harmful for the roots of the plant.
