  Front cover of a motor vehicle provided with cavities for organs, in particular vision organs.

  State of the art and problem posed by this state of the art.

  Few hoods incorporate lighting functions; when this is the case, the lighting systems are independent, that is, they have a window and a housing containing the lighting functions. The reason is simple: these sets must be waterproof while allowing access for component replacement.

  However, we see appear on the market lights that have the advantage of having a longer life than the vehicle.

  On the other hand, the electronic detection devices at the front of the vehicle are today mostly implemented behind the bumper skin, then having visibility towards the road. However, at this location, they are very exposed to shocks.

  Some of them have transparency requirements because they are based on optical technologies. It is the same for camera assistance systems.

  The bumper skin then becomes a complex space where there are conflicting demands of flexibility and stiffness, and where a lot of components have to be located.

Solution proposed by the invention.

  Medium and long distance sensing electronic devices require a position with a wide forward field of vision, protection against small impacts, high stability and rigidity of attachment. They are also relatively compact.

  They will find their place equally between the lining and the skin of the hood, itself fixed on robust means of docking.

  Similarly, the body embedded in the hood can be a solar sensor for powering electrical functions, especially when the vehicle engine is off, for a video, an air conditioning, a refrigerator, lighting ...

  Particular advantageous embodiments.

  - The hood liner is shaped to provide a passage for a flow of air under the hood skin. This flow of air, often necessary for the improvement of engine cooling and exhaust outlets, contributes to the good cooling of the vision organs.

  - LED lighting is an optical signature (differentiation function): it is a daylight.

  - An infrared sensor is embedded, it requires transparency or translucency of the hood skin.

  - The on-board sensor is at high frequencies (eg 77 GHz) it requires rigidity and its cost requires that it be preserved from shocks.

  - The skin is made of a protected transparent material, then masked locally in the transparent areas, and finally painted your box.

  Motor vehicle hood (1) adapted to carry a member (2) such as a viewing element, characterized in that it has a hood structure having the following characteristics: a lining of the hood (3) serves fixation support to the body, - a bonnet skin (4), at least locally transparent, serves as upper transparent protection to the body, the skin (4) is glued (5) on the lining (3) of to form a sealed cavity (6).   2.
