Abstract

The label e.g. for sealing a container to detect tampering, has a support with low internal cohesion e.g. a central polymer layer and especially a polyolefin with micro-cavities between two layers of skin and a non-reversible thermochromic component. The central layer has a coating of a pressure-sensitive adhesive containing a remotely detectable magnetic security wire or magnetic pigments. The thermochromic component is e.g. a thermochromic ink printed on the label's outer surface.
