Abstract

The brake has auto-amplification devices arranged on a friction lining (16) to transform a force into an application force to press the lining against a brake body (14). Another friction lining (18) is connected to the former lining to displace the linings in direction of rotation of the body. An actuating device (28) supports the former lining so that the latter lining is pressed against the body to actuate the brake.
