Abstract

The box (10), comprising a base (12), an upper rim (14) and four side walls, two of which (30, 32) have horizontal central hinges (42, 44) so they can fold inwards on top of the base, has a first set of stacking elements (50) that engage with matching elements (52) on a box stacked under it. A second set of stacking elements (60) on the upper rim is able to engage with matching elements (62) on another box, allowing boxes to be stacked when packed flat.
