Abstract

The knitted fabric consists of a first row (I) combining a weft yarn (2) of cotton-covered rubber and a front head (3a) charge of cotton (3). The second row (II) is of jersey knit, with a rear head charge (4a) of covered elasthane. Its third row (III) is a front row of jersey knit with polyamide yarn; the fourth row (IV) combines a weft yarn of cottoncovered rubber with a front-head charge of cotton offset by one needle relative to the front row, and the fifth and sixth rows (V, VI) are the same as rows II and III but offset by one needle.
