Abstract
The system has several nodes connected by light waveguides to a network. each node has an arrangement for sending a message with reduced transmission power to each adjacent node, an arrangement for receiving a confirmation of receipt of the message and a arrangement for outputting an error message to a bus management node in the event that a confirmation is not received. Independent claims are also included for the following: a self-test method for an electronic system with several nodes and a computer program product for implementing the method.
