 The invention relates to a non-disposable plate holder intended to receive and maintain disposable plates on the market.

 Disposable plates on the market all have the distinction of being manufactured with thin wall thicknesses.

The major defect of these disposable plates, is their general lack of rigidity when they receive food ...?
Another consequence of these thin walls is the risk of perforating them by cutting food with a knife, when the plate does not rest on a homogeneous smooth surface (table adjourned, etc.).

 Another consequence directly related to their thinness of thickness, therefore to their mass, is the sensitivity to the wind, when the plates are empty.

 Another shortcoming of disposable plates is the lack of a personalized visual marker (single color, no marking area).

 Finally, the small thickness of these products results in a lack of thermal insulation against hot food when maintaining the disposable plate by hand.

 The invention aims to provide a non-disposable plate holder that can receive and maintain one or more models of disposable plates on the market.

 Other objects and advantages of the invention will emerge during the description which follows.

 The plate holder according to the invention consists of a rigid bottom. A crown-shaped edge is located at an upper level of the base and is connected to the latter by a form of frustoconical shape in which one or more cutouts have been made.

 On the upper crown is locally arranged one or more elastic tabs, making it possible to grip and secure the disposable plates with the plate holder.

 The elastic tabs being visible surfaces of the plate holder when a disposable plate has been gripped in it, serve as a marking area (color, marking, labeling ...) for personalized identification.

 The general shape of the plate holder is designed so that stacked two by two, the height of the assembly is less than twice the height of a plate holder.

 The invention will be better understood by referring to the description below and to the accompanying drawings.

 Figure 1 shows a perspective plate holder according to the invention.

 The plate holder 1 shown in FIG. 1 generally has the shape of a plate, the ascending face 4 connecting the rim 3 called the crown, is connected by one or more lugs thus generating one or more openings 5.

 It has a lower part of circular shape 2 also called bottom, with a diameter close to the bottom of one or more models of disposable plates, and of a thickness sufficient to stiffen the bottom of disposable plates.

 Figure 2 illustrates the plate holder in which a disposable plate model has been inserted.

 A crown 3 located at a higher level of the bottom 2 and of generally circular shape, is of a diameter at least equal to the outside diameter of the models of disposable plates of the trade 7, which can be supported by the plate holder.

 Overhangs 6 breaking the circularity of the crown 3, can be associated with the outer contour of the edge 3.

 These overhangs 6 serve to stiffen the edge 3 and create a personalized identification surface with any imaginable marking means.

 The edge 3 is connected to the bottom 2 by one or more lugs 4 whose number and geometry (shape and thickness) are determined as a function of the desired rigidity, between the bottom 2 and the edge 3.

 One or more ribs 8 projecting from the crown 3 support elastic tabs 9 freeing a space allowing the insertion of the periphery of one or more models of disposable commercial plates 7. The tabs 9 secure the disposable plate with the holder plate 1, the assembly, due to its mass, thus provides increased stability in the face of mechanical attack such as wind ...

 It can be seen in FIG. 2 that the disposable plates rest on the faces 2 and 3 of the plate holder, and that the tabs 9 retain the disposable plates in the plate holder.

 The inner face of the bottom 2 is always smooth, while its outer face in contact with a table top 12, can receive recesses increasing the developed surface of the bottom, in order to better dissipate the heat coming from food, improving thermal comfort .

 The general drawing of the plate holder is made so as to provide a rigidity greater than the rigidity of the disposable plates, when gripping the plate-plate holder assembly.

 The plate holder is made of any suitable material, in particular injected plastic, such as polypropylene, if necessary, added with a filler (fiberglass, talc ...) or a bacteriologically healthy plastic material, but it can also be molded or made of metal.

Plate holder according to claim 1 characterized in that the ascending wall 4 of the plate holder has openings 5 causing flexibility at its ends thus allowing to adapt to the geometry of the models of disposable plates 7.  3. Plate holder according to claim 1 characterized in that the upper rim 3 connected to the rising wall 4 is equipped with claws or elastic legs 8 and 9 joining the models of disposable plates 7 with the plate holder 1.  4. Plate holder according to claim 1 characterized in that the upper rim 3 has a cutout 10 at its periphery which is made to reserve a large marking space 6 facilitating the personalization of the plate-plate holder assembly.  5. Plate holder according to claim 1 characterized in that the bottom 2 in contact with the hand when gripping the plate-plate holder assembly offers, by the presence of recesses, a large developed surface promoting evacuation calories.
