Abstract

Ball (1) is covered by patterns (4), but except on its poles (2) and on its equatorial band (3). Patterns have isosceles trapezoidal shape, are spread in groups of eight, over six spherical zones. There is no continuity between sides of quadrangles of one zone and faces of quadrangles of an adjacent zone. Separation lines (6) between patterns always are crenellated or broken lines.
