Abstract

AND THEIR USES

  The subject of the present invention is compositions comprising one or more persalts in an anhydrous medium, and their uses in the context of asepsis and of cleaning the surfaces of the human body, in particular wounds or

  teeth, or as household products.

  The use of sodium perborate in the dental environment has already been described.

  In particular effervescent tablets comprising Na perborate are used in the context of the cleaning of mobile dental prosthesis devices. The dissolution of these tablets in water causes the decomposition of the parsley with concomitant release of active oxygen 0-having a

remarkable antiseptic power.

  However, the use of parsley in solid form (powder or tablets), in the context of asepsis of body surfaces such as the skin, wounds, teeth or gums, or of household or sanitary surfaces, is delicate, or even impossible. The main object of the present invention is to overcome this drawback by proposing compositions and devices allowing the application of these compositions, by means of which the production of O-- is ensured by a mixture carried out extemporaneously with an anhydrous phase.

contact with each other.

  As in the case of the anhydrous medium, the above-mentioned aqueous medium is in liquid form (suspensions), or in the form of pastes, such as

creams or gels.

  The invention relates more particularly to any composition as described above, characterized in that: - the parsley is chosen from perborates, persulfates, or peroxides, of Na or other alkali, alkaline-earth or metal ions, the anhydrous medium is chosen from products which do not produce ions, such as silicone derivatives, the aqueous medium is chosen from gels such as alginates or carraghenates, suspensions or glycerol pastes, the separation of two phases is ensured by an amorphous oil such as paraffin oil (advantageously treated with talc to increase its viscosity). Particularly preferred compositions in the context of the present invention are such that they comprise a compound capable of accelerating the rate of decomposition of the parsley, and therefore reducing the time necessary for the appearance of active oxygen during the mixture of the two phases. Preferably, said compound is contained in the anhydrous phase of the aforementioned compositions of the invention, and is chosen in particular from catalases, such as animal catalases (bovine or porcine), or microbial catalases (such as Aspergillus catalase swim), and / or among

  The invention also relates to any composition of toothpaste comprising a composition as defined above, the active principle or principles of said toothpaste being included in the aqueous or anhydrous phase of

said composition.

  Preferably, the toothpaste compositions according to the invention are characterized in that the active principles of said toothpaste are included in the aqueous phase, and are chosen in particular from the formulations in

  foaming soapy phase or not usually used in toothpaste.

  The invention also relates to any device for the use of a

  composition as described above.

Claims (9)

  1. Composition comprising one or more persalts in an anhydrous medium, said anhydrous medium being a solubilizable fluid in an aqueous medium, said persal being capable of decomposing on the one hand releasing the salt, and, on the other hand, l active oxygen 0--, when said anhydrous medium is put in contact with an aqueous medium.   2. Composition according to claim 1, characterized in that it comprises: - a phase, designated anhydrous phase, comprising one or more persalts in an anhydrous fluid which can be dissolved in an aqueous medium, - a phase, designated aqueous phase, comprising a medium aqueous in which the above-mentioned anhydrous phase is soluble, the two above-mentioned phases being separated so as not to be in contact with each other.   3. Composition according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that - the parsley is chosen from perborates, persulfates, or peroxides, of Na or other alkali, alkaline-earth or metallic ions, - the anhydrous medium is chosen among the non-ionic products, such as silicone derivatives, - the aqueous medium is chosen from gels, such as alginates or carrageenans, suspensions, or glycerol pastes, - the separation of the two phases is ensured by amorphous oil such as paraffin oil, such as talc treated paraffin oil for increase its viscosity.   4. Composition according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that   that it comprises a compound capable of accelerating the speed of decomposition of the parsley, and therefore of reducing the time necessary for the appearance of active oxygen during the mixing of the two phases, said compound preferably being contained in the phase anhydrous, and is chosen in particular from catalases, such as animal catalases, or catalases   microbials, and / or among peroxides such as permanganates.   5.
