Abstract

The invention concerns a connection box consisting of an insulating enclosure comprising a rear element (1) and a front element (2). The rear element (1) is provided with means (19) for fixing the electrical connection terminals for neutral or phases and means (23) for fixing the electrical disconnects or breaker(s) associated with the electrical appliance(s) borne by the lamp post. The front element (2) is provided with a pivoting window (36) for providing direct access to the disconnect(s) or breaker. A locking member (40) is provided with a first locking system (43) for removably locking the pivoting window (36) on the front element (2), and a second locking system (47) for removably locking the front element (2) on the rear element (1). Said locking member (40) can be operated by rotation from outside to take up at least: a position wherein the two locking systems (43, 47) are activated; a position wherein the second locking system (47) is activated; and a position wherein at least said second locking system (47) is deactivated.
