Abstract

The advertising display mechanism has advertising placards (4) on a flexible support (2) with a transparent front face (16). Description

The present invention is in the field of information carriers, and it

relates to a curtain

  display of advertising messages.

  Display curtains are known on which are printed advertising posters, commonly used in cinemas for example. Usually, the advertiser designs the curtain so as to present several advertising panels for a fixed period. At the end of this period, it can be renewed, but in the case where at least one advertising board must be modified or replaced, the curtain must

be replaced with a new one.

  It therefore appears that a drawback of these curtains lies in the fact that the advertising boards cannot benefit from a display period

  specific to each of them, otherwise to replace the curtain.

  The object of the invention is to propose a display device for advertising cupboards of the kind using a curtain, which on the one hand overcomes the above-mentioned drawback, and on the other hand provides an implementation

  value of the messages displayed, advantageously selective.

  The inventive step consisted in bringing back transparent pockets on the curtain, said pockets being intended to accommodate a respective advertising medium in order to allow the replacement of these

independently of each other.

  Furthermore, with a view to enhancing the messages displayed, a preferred embodiment is proposed according to which an electroluminescent film is placed behind the advertising medium, the latter being transparent, so that the advertising messages can be put value

by rear lighting.

  It will be understood that the transparency of the advertising medium can reside either in a transparency of the medium with the exception of the inscriptions composing the advertising message which it supports, or conversely in a transparency of the inscriptions and an opacity of the rest of the medium, or even in a transparency of the entire support with areas showing coloration

  different, to form the advertising message for example.

  Preferably, an electroluminescent film is assigned to each of the advertising media, and programming means make it possible to modulate the lighting of the different media, with a view to their selective and / or alternate development. It will be noted that preferably, the brightness of each of the electroluminescent films is variable and progressive, to offer in particular the possibility of linking the alternating lighting of

different advertising media.

  Sound means, the implementation of which is advantageously placed under the control of the programming means, make it possible to associate a sound message with each of the alternately lit advertising media. The present invention will be better understood and details thereof will appear on

  In the figures, a device for displaying advertising posters comprises a curtain 2 on one face of which the said advertising posters are visible. According to the present invention, said curtain 2 supports on its face intended to be visible transparent pockets, such as 4, to accommodate a respective advertising medium, such as 6, so that the advertising media 6 can be replaced

independently of each other.

  Preferably, the advertising media 6 are formed from a transparent sheet, and at least one electroluminescent film, such as 8, is interposed between the media and the curtain, so that the advertising messages can be highlighted by rear lighting produced by the film

electroluminescent 8.

  It will be understood that in the preferred case where the pockets themselves have a rear face, the electroluminescent film 8 is either interposed between the pocket 4

  curtain and curtain 2, either and preferably is itself

  even housed inside the pocket 4.

  An electroluminescent film 8 is preferably assigned to a respective advertising medium 6, so that the advertising media 6 can be lit independently of one another in order to operate

  selective enhancement of advertising messages.

  According to a preferred embodiment, the device comprises means 10 for programming the implementation of the various electroluminescent films 8 for their selective and / or alternating lighting. In addition, the device advantageously comprises sound means 12, the implementation of which is placed under the dependence of said means of

programming 10.

  Although a preferred embodiment of the invention has been described and shown, it should be understood that the scope of the latter is not limited to this form, but that it extends to any device comprising the characteristics set out above.

Claims (2)

  1.- Device for displaying advertising posters, of the type of device comprising a curtain on a large face of which the said advertising posters are visible, characterized: in that said curtain (2) supports on its face intended to be visible transparent pockets (4) for housing a respective advertising medium (6), so that the advertising media (6) can be replaced independently of each other; 2.- Device according to claim 1, characterized: in that the advertising supports (6) are formed from a transparent sheet, and in that at least one electroluminescent film (8) is interposed between the supports (6 ) and the curtain (2) so that the advertising messages can be enhanced by rear lighting produced by the electroluminescent film (8);  3.- Device according to claim 2, characterized: in that an electroluminescent film (8) is assigned to a respective support (6), so that the supports (6) can be lit independently of each other; 4. Device according to claim 3, characterized: in that it comprises programming means (10) for the implementation of the various electroluminescent films (8) for their selective and / or alternating lighting; 5. Device according to claim 4, characterized: in that it comprises sound means (12), the implementation of which is placed under the   dependence on said programming means (10).
