Description

The present invention relates to a device intended to equip a

  automatic waterer for all vans and truck-vans carrying horses.

  This device allows the horse to drink in all places of stopping, inside as

  outside the van (or truck-van).

  Vans and other truck-vans currently on the market have no means of watering the horse. The owner uses a bucket

  which is useless without a tap or a source of water nearby.

  The device according to the invention overcomes this major constraint. According to a first characteristic, it has a reserve of water supplying, io thanks to a water pump, a drinking trough. Thus, the horse, as in its box, presses on the pallet of the trough and obtains the quantity of water necessary. The

  - Figure 1 shows the device of the invention.

  With reference to this drawing, the device comprises a reservoir (1), a water pump (2), a mobile drinker with suction cup (3), a spray lance (4) a flexible hose (5), a water tap. drain (6), a power supply 12 or 24

  volts (7), and a standard male plug (8).

  - Figure 2 shows the water pump. It is in direct current (12 or 24 volts) and called either surface or submerged (commercial manufacture). The pump is equipped with a motor (1), a turbine and pressure switch (2) set to 2 Bars, a suction (3), a discharge (4), and a mounting base ( 5).   - Figure 4 shows the mobile drinker. The set includes the drinker made to measure in fiberglass (1). The mold is made of plaster (we can also use another material such as elastomer). The drinker incorporates a double-acting suction cup (2) comprising two fixing levers (3), a filling filling mechanism (4) and a water connection (5). The whole arises

  and is easily deposited on the wall of the van (or vehicle).

  The mobile drinker is connected to the pump by a flexible food hose

  Made to measure, the mobile drinker can be made to shape and

  desired dimension. Its water level is maintained thanks to a float valve.

  Note: a spray lance is connected to the same piping by a tee and a barrier valve; it allows to wash the van or to refresh the horse

  1) Device for providing vans or truck-vans with a mobile drinking trough allowing the horse to drink inside and outside of the van, in all stopping places, characterized in that it includes a supply tank, thanks to   a water pump, the drinker as well as a watering lance.   2) Device according to claim 1 characterized in that the drinker is   mobile and is fixed on the inside or outside wall of the van.   3) Device according to claim 1 characterized in that the tank can be made of any material of a food nature and dimensions   desired, or integrated into the production of the van.
