Abstract

An envelope having a flexible impermeable face and a flexible porous face and containing a pasty mixture, packed in vacuo within a sealed sleeve. The pasty mixture may be clay plus water, clay plus a paraffin wax or beeswax plus essential oils, mustard flour plus water, finely divided algae plus water, or clay plus glycerin. The envelope may also contain adhesive strips for fixing the envelope onto the skin. The whole assembly is shown in the figure.

Description

-1 - The present invention relates to a pocket closed on its 4 sides

  (by welding, sewing or any process whatsoever), 1 side of which is made of a waterproof plastic film (1) (polyamide-polyethylene, polyethylene, polypropylene, polyvinyl chloride, polyurethane) and the other side is made of '' a porous nonwoven film (2) (polyester, viscose, cellulose, natural or synthetic fibers) or porous polyurethane. This pouch contains a pasty mixture: (clay + water) or (clay + paraffin or beeswax + essential oils) or

  (mustard flour + water) or (thermal mud) or (micro-burst algae + water) or (powdered clay + glycerin).

  It is itself vacuum-packed in a sealed pouch (3) allowing it to be stored and possibly heated. This pouch is intended to be applied by its porous face to a part of the body either at temperature

  ambient, either heated or refrigerated by any process whatsoever, and this for therapeutic or aesthetic purposes, for human or veterinary use.20 The porous face may be optionally bordered by an adhesive strip (4) allowing it to be fixed to the skin .

  Pasty mixtures are often used in cutaneous application, for example: clay paste.

  It is either a direct application to the skin of clay paste (clay + water), or the application of a pouch of porous material (containing clay powder) which is applied on the skin after soaking it in water. These two processes have the following drawbacks: - For clay paste: dirty process: adhesion of clay on the skin (difficult cleaning after use) and necessary protection of the plaster with a plastic film or

  a strip so as not to stain clothes or sheets.

  - For clay in a porous pouch: also a messy process: after removing the pouch, a small film of clay remains on the skin. However, since the existing pouches contain powdered clay, they must be hydrated by immersion before application and the disadvantage of this process is that it is not possible to control the exact dose of water necessary for good consistency of the mixture. Powdered clay absorbs a lot of water. This excess water tends to flow during use of the pouch. The present invention makes it possible to improve the service in an optimal manner by eliminating the drawbacks of the

existing processes.

  Indeed, the clay paste or any other pasty mixture used to fill the pouch contains the proportion of water necessary for an optimal consistency (neither too viscous nor too runny) knowing in addition that the percentage of water added varies depending on the type of clay used (green, white clay,

red, etc ...) and its provenance.

  The vacuum packaging in a waterproof bag allows good preservation of the mixture without evaporation of the water. This waterproof packaging also allows the mixture to be heated or refrigerated by immersion in water or by any other

  process, without absorption or evaporation of water.

  For use, the pouch is removed from its vacuum packaging. The porous side is applied to the skin. This allows the clay to pass without adhering to the skin (only a thin film of easily removable clay remains on the skin after use). As the mixture contains the correct

proportion of water, it does not flow.

  The waterproof side has the advantage of allowing the pouch to be put in place without getting your hands dirty, to avoid too rapid evaporation of water during application and to allow the pouch to be fixed to the skin by a bandaged

without dirtying it.

  In addition, the self-adhesive version allows easy attachment

  on the skin without the need for a band.

  1) Pouch containing a pasty mixture vacuum-packed in a sealed bag, characterized in that it comprises   one side of impermeable flexible film and one side of porous flexible film intended to be applied to a part of the body for a therapeutic, aesthetic or relaxing purpose.   2) Pouch according to claim n 1 characterized in that the mixture contained inside consists of a mixture of clay and water. 3) A pouch according to claim n 1 characterized by the 1o that the mixture contained inside consists of a mixture of clay, paraffin or beeswax and essential oils. 4) Pouch according to claim n 1 characterized in that the mixture contained inside consists of a   mixture of mustard stew and water.   ) Pouch according to claim n 1 characterized in that the mixture contained inside the interior consists of thermal mud. 6) Pouch according to claim n 1 characterized by the   the mixture inside is made up of a mixture of micro-exploded algae and water.   7) Pouch according to claim n 1 characterized in that the mixture contained inside consists of a   mixture of powdered clay and glycerin. 25 8) A pouch according to any one of claims 1 to   7 characterized in that its porous face is bordered by a   adhesive strip allowing its fixing on the skin.
